State's Attorney's Administrative Assistant Sonny Woods Named Macon County Employee of the Quarter

Macon County State's Attorney Jay Scott announced today that State's Attorney's Office employee Sonny Woods has been named Macon County Employee of the Quarter for the 2nct Quarter of 2015. This honor is given to Macon County employees who go above and beyond in their service and who are role models for other county employees. Woods was presented the award at a ceremony during the Macon County Board meeting on July 9, 2015.
Woods has been with the State's Attorney's Office since 2008, and currently serves as the Felony Division Administrative Assistant.
"Sonny is one of the hardest working people I've ever known," Scott said. "He's a true professional, he does whatever it takes to get the job done correctly, and he always maintains a courteous attitude. His behind the scenes efforts play a big role in the success our office has in prosecuting difficult cases. I'm very proud to have him as a colleague, and I'm very glad that his talents were recognized with this award."
